Ban The NY Times.  Ban The NY Times.  Ban The NY Times.  Ban The NY Times.  Ban The NY Times.  Ban The NY Times.

They blatantly disrespect the troops and continue to undermine the war in Iraq.  They serve no other purpose than to promote the crooked lies of the liberal agenda.  Assuming that highly decorated General Petraeus lied to the American public is absurd.

Never the less, despite the barrage of animosity from certain congressmen, protestors and the press, General Petraeus continues to compose himself in accordance to the highest standards of the Armed Forces.  I commend General Petraeus, he is a true soldier; he is a true American.

It is this type of ‘reporting’ that makes me question the loyalty, patriotism and even the citizenship of the editors at The NY Times.  I understand our first amendment right but this is not Glamour magazine or The National Inquirer.  I thought the News held itself to a higher standard.

This outrageous article can be found at: http://pol.moveon.org/petraeus.html

I will not go into details to try to explain the daily sacrifices made by our GI’s in Blue.  Everyone receives the chain emails.  They know the truth but fail to accept it.  They can not “see the forest for the trees.”

The media is partially at fault for not properly reporting on the war.  It is always one sided ‘death and destruction.’  Although the blame solely lies at the feet of the people for they do not open their ears and eyes to both sides of the story.  For instance, there are countless eye-witness testimonies of veterans who have been there and have seen first hand the progress and the shortcomings.  We can not depend on the media as our only source of information.

The video “Do you remember me?” is by far the best tribute I have seen to our veterans who are serving and continue to serve in our Armed Forces.  It shows us and reminds everyone these warriors are our own flesh and blood.  Yet the comments do not reflect gratitude.  You would think those at home would be proud and for once put politics aside to honor our family overseas.

It really is too much to ask.  The hate and the foul language disgust me and at times I am ashamed to label myself an American as they do.  I suppose it truly is too much to ask.

I have lost a few friends and brothers and one returned home without his right leg only to loose the other one to infection.  I guess it really hits home for me so I can understand.  How many actually break down in tears at a ballgame when the National Anthem is sung?  How many stand respectfully?

You know a fellow Marine told me, “it is not everyone who displays only hate.”  You know, I believe him now.  It really is only 10%.  These few who can only use blotted out words because their language is lacking substance.  “What does “******” mean, anyway?  Honestly, I think it is just a loss of words.  Besides, I know they are the minority… all the Ensigns have not been burned.

So this 4th of July while these 10% attend their Al-Qaeda graduation ceremonies I will enjoy my freedom and give thanks to the GI’s who have and continue to sacrifice in my stead.  Semper Fidelis, Always faithful.

This is a very great tribute to our Troops made by a 15 year old girl.  If you haven’t seen it your missing out.

She captures our deepest feelings.  Thank you.

Words spoken or written out of spite and anger to include hate are extremely destructive.   Take for instance the “N” word or the “F” word.  These Anti-War Rally’s and Peace demonstrations may have good intentions but they always end up displaying hate and anger.  The definition of peace is not represented in these hostile marches.

Burning Old Glory and marching with signs that read “F— the Troops” and “We support our troops when they shoot their officers” is pure hate.  Burning a manikin dressed in Military Battle Dress only sends one message.  This is an act of war against the US Military not free speech.

What would happen if America was left to fight their own battles without the firepower of the US Armed Forces?  It would fall.  America would be nothing without the sacrifices of the Veterans doing their job each and every day.  Who would watch your back when you’re sleeping?  Who would guard your family while you’re at work 40 hours a week?  There would be complete and total chaos across the entire world.

“Do not bite the hand that feeds.”  Your current lifestyle is only possible because we have and still are fighting for you to live it.  The constant threat from Al-Qaeda is REAL.  THEY WANT AND WILL (GIVEN THE CHANCE) KILL YOU!  Your Vets let you continue this lifestyle as if nothing was even happening.  America takes everything for granted.

If you don’t like it here then LEAVE.  You can join Rosie, Kerry, Murtha and friends on a permanent vacation to IRAN or even to North Korea.  I’m sure you all and Kim would have a lot in common.

A castle that sleeps is asking to be taken.
